Alcohol Ink - For BeginnersCome explore the vibrant and fluid colors of Alcohol Ink on tile. Alcohol Ink is a fast-moving, quick-drying, medium that is fun to use and growing in popularity. Each student will be provided all of the materials they will need, working with 4x4 and 6x6 ceramic tiles you'll create as many beautiful artworks as they can during the class time! The class includes a short talk about Alcohol Ink, demonstrations about tool options and their usage, and hints on how to create flowers, landscapes, trees, and lively abstracts. Instructions on sealing the tiles will be provided at the end of class for students to do at home.
*Alcohol ink will stain clothes. Please dress accordingly. Also, please bring a box for safe transportation of your art to your home.

Instructor: Bernadette Chlebeck (She/Her) is an Alcohol Ink artist who also works with oil and acrylic paints. Inspired by life and the people around her, she creates vivid, emotional art meant to beautify personal spaces. After studying photography and education decades ago, Bernadette returned to the arts post-pandemic, studying drawing and oil painting. She began selling her art in 2023 and now teaches Alcohol Ink classes, encouraging others to embrace their creativity. "I believe anyone can be an artist. You just need to surround yourself with the right people in the right place."
