Alcohol Health Champions Training Following the incredible success of our first Alcohol Health Champions training session on 15th October, we are pleased to announce our next training day on Tuesday, 18th November at Hale Community Centre, from 10am to 4pm; with a FREE Lunch, workbook & a practical toolkit to take away.

The training was useful and relevant.

Highlights from Qualitative Feedback - Most Useful Parts of the Day: -
Practical tools: Especially around motivational interviewing and person-centred approaches.
Understanding alcohol units and theories of dependency.
Role plays: Helped participants practice gentle, non-invasive ways to start conversations.
Networking: Sharing experiences and contacts with other organisations.
Real-life application: Learning how to offer choices and respect autonomy.

Trainer (Nell) was described as engaging, knowledgeable, and effective.
The training was inspiring, encouraging open conversations about alcohol use.
