DESCRIPTION OF WORKSHOP:
Bring curiosity and movement into the places where we get stuck, intense, confused, distracted and zoned out.
This is a playful, open-hearted exploration of the human condition that cultivates a new way of experiencing old patterns.
Harvest gold from the way we resist, realize the gifts and have fun while doing it.
This counts as 2.5 days of Waves hours - exploring the 5®Rhythms Shadow map - prerequisites for the 5®Rhythms teacher training.
Dates: 26 Sep 2025 - 28 Sep 2025 Friday night 7 pm- 9 pm
Saturday: 27th Sept Commencing at 10 am -5 pm
Sunday 28th Sept Commencing 10 am -4.30 pm

Meredith Davies Bio
Meredith Davies worked as a therapist and creative dance facilitator in the mental health and disability arts before training with Gabrielle Roth in the USA in 2001. She taught 5®Rhythms in Europe and America and has now been teaching weekly classes and workshops in Melbourne and around Australia for nearly 20 years. In 2015 she trained as a 5 ® Heartbeat teacher with Gabrielle’s son, Jonathon Horan, and in 2019 she completed a Heartbeat Refresh. With her husband David Juriansz, together as Moving Essence, they have helped make Melbourne an international mecca for the 5®Rhythms practice mentoring students, trainees and teachers. Meredith’s dedication, passion and enticing style is quite simply, an invitation into the healing power of movement
Gabrielle Roth’s 5 ®Rhythms are taught all over the world and Moving Essence started the first weekly classes in Melbourne 20 years ago. Workshops offer a deeper experience of this life changing practice.
