Join Essential Yoga Studio as we welcome newcomer Ari Bhakti to our community on Saturday, September 21, from 4-7p. Step into a sacred space of transformation with "Alchemizing Pain into Pleasure: A Somatic Journey," a workshop designed to help you reconnect with your body, release deep-seated trauma, and rediscover the pure joy of being. This immersive experience invites you to explore the delicate balance between pain and pleasure, guiding you to transmute old wounds into vibrant energy.Through a carefully crafted sequence of guided body awareness and somatic exercises, breathwork techniques, reflective journaling, and playful, free movement, you will embark on a journey of somatic healing. Each movement and breath will help you tease out the trauma held within your body, allowing energy to flow freely and inviting pleasure to take root.
The journey culminates in a deeply restorative meditation focused on awakening your senses and igniting pleasure within. You’ll leave feeling lighter, more empowered, and deeply connected to your inner self, bathed in self-love and renewed vitality. As a special closing, we’ll share a delightful treat together—a sweet reward for the commitment you’ve made to investing in yourself and your healing journey.
All items needed for the workshop are provided, but we encourage you to bring a yoga mat, a journal and pen, and a sensory item such as an essential oil or textured fabric to enhance your personal experience.
Ari is new to Essential's community but not new to this practice; she has been providing small group and 1:1 support and guidance for healing for the past decade. We're excited to get to know her!
