This event has been rescheduled from 8/20/25.
In this interactive performance, George invites you to enter the boundary-breaking universe that is the mind of Albert Einstein. You will discover that time and space are inseparable, that time actually slows down the faster you go, and that if you could travel at the speed of light, time would actually stop!
As part of the show, you’ll time travel with George on the trajectory of Einstein’s life—from lowly patent clerk in a Swiss office to world-class physicist whose revolutionary insights overturned long-held views about the very nature of reality and pointed the way to the computer revolution of the 21st century. But there’s a lot more to the story than Einstein’s insights into the nature of reality. George brings out the great scientist’s very human qualities, including his sense of humor, and his trials and tribulations as a family man. Today's performance invites audiences to imagine they are visiting Einstein in his home in Princeton, NJ where he lived from 1935 until his death in 1955.
About George Capaccio: Before becoming a professional storyteller, George performed in many of Boston’s theaters, including the American Repertory Theater. For 5 years, he acted with Boston’s Museum of Science’s Science Theater. He also worked with Boston-based children’s theater companies as an actor, writer, workshop leader, and artist educator. Building on this experience, George went on to co-host The Children’s Room, a nationally broadcast, award-winning children’s TV show. For each episode, he delivered dramatic readings of contemporary and traditional children’s books. Learn more at georgecapaccio.com
