Enjoy networking, lite refreshment, choir, and speakers as we celebrate the founding of Albany NAACP at our in-person Sunday gathering!About this Event
Join us downtown on Sunday , Feb. 23rd, for the Albany NAACP Founders' Day Gathering at The Blake Annex!
This in-person event is a celebration of the founding of the local chapter of the NAACP and a time to come together as a community. We'll have speakers, music, refreshments, and more to commemorate this special occasion.
Our featured guest speaker is the Hon. Jullian Faison, Albany Family Court Judge, newly elected as of 2024. She comes to this position with fifteen years of experience practicing in the areas of child welfare, mental health, and human services. It is a pleasure to have her in attendance to address our celebratory gathering. See complete Bio below.
Additionally, do share conversation with old friends and new colleagues as we address our Founder's Day theme for 2025, " The Next Generation & Beyond" and consider ways to protect our youth, and as well, empower them to carry forth gaining new and useful skills, knowledge, and abilities along the way.
For your convenience, our Membership Chair, Tanya Randolph, will be available for anyone wishing to address their Albany NAACP membership, new or renewals.
Don't miss out on this opportunity to connect with others who share a passion for social justice and equality. Let's honor our past and inspire a brighter future together.
SEE YOU THERE!
