Since stepping into the scene a few years ago, Jerusalem’s funniest man Alaa Abu Diab has gone on to sell out shows across the world from Cairo to London and Dubai to Toronto. His cutting-edge wit and hilarious political commentary have become a classic staple of his work while his nonchalant demeanour disarms (and charms) his audiences.
His new show ‘Mish Abyad’ explores the concept of ‘non-whiteness’ and ‘otherness’ and takes a dig at hypocrisy and double standards, touching upon subjects such as last year’s World Cup in Qatar and the invasion in Ukraine.
