ALA Somerset and Dorset are delighted to invite you to their Autumn Seminar "Don't get mired in the mud - drilling into the detail of AHA/FBT and partnerships" on Monday 23rd September 14.00 - 16.30 at Clarke Willmott, Blackbrook Business Park, TA1 2PG.
The Somerset and Dorset Regional Group will be hosing an informative seminar focussing on topical agricultural law issue. We are delighted to be joined by speakers Emily Windsor, Jamie Sutherland, Caroline Shea KC and Joseph Ollech from Falcon Chambers. The speakers will provide an update on recent case law and discuss practical examples of cases they have been working on in the three key topics of:
1. Tenant's Improvements - when is a fixture not a fixture - an overview of the statutory improvements regime and caselaw for Farm Business Tenancies and Agricultural Holdings
2. Partnership disputes - disputes on wind-up - a look at the distinction between Trust of Land and Trustees act 1996 versus the Partnership Act 1890
3. Succession - considering the recent changes to the statutory succession requirements for Agricultural Holdings Act 1896 tenancies
