ضمن برنامج أيام الثقافة العراقية تدعوكم الجمعية العراقية الكندية في العاصمة لحضور معرض شارع المتنبي للكتاب العربي في أوتاوا الذي تشارك فيه مكتبات ودور نشر عربية/كندية.معاً نحتفي بالكتاب لأن أول حرفٍ خُط في سطور التأريخ كانت بلادنا مهده، ولأن بغداد كانت حاضرة العالم ومشكاة العلم والمعرفة في العصر العباسي، نحتفي بالكتاب لأنه مرآة الحضارة، وأداة تنوير للعقول، وكنزٌ الشعوب الثقافي الذي ألهم البشرية وساهم في تقدمها، وسيبقى جسرًا يصل الماضي بالحاضر والمستقبل مهما تطورت العلوم والتكنولوجيا.
