ArtWalk returns to the Historic Arts District on September 10 from 4 p.m. - 8 p.m. Join Summit Artspace and our neighbors for this quarterly celebration of the local arts, complete with food, music, and pop-up vendors. Artists will be working on chalk drawings on Summit Street. Find calls for artists and vendors on Summit Artspace's Submittable page: https://summitartspace.submittable.com/submit
ArtWalk is free and open to the public with donations gladly accepted.
Suggested Path for ArtWalk:
-Start at Zeber-Martell Gallery & Clay Studio, open from 4-6 p.m. Check out the shops and restaurants open around the Northside District.
-Head over to Summit Street and visit Summit Artspace for chalk drawings, music, food trucks and pop-up vendors. Resident artist studios and exhibitions will be open inside.
-Stroll over to the Akron Art Museum, open until 8 p.m. to check out their exhibitions.
-Finally, catch a film at The Nightlight Cinema. The Lost Leonardo showtimes are at 7 p.m. and 9:15 p.m. Treasure of the Ninja is playing at 11:45 p.m.
-Make sure to pay a visit to all of the local restaurants and other businesses that you pass along the way!
Please note that a portion of Summit Street will be closed to accommodate the festivities on Friday and Saturday! We recommend parking in the lot between Summit Artspace and Akron Art Museum. The lot is accessible via Broadway Street, and on Summit Street from Mill Street (but not Market Street).
