Group dog walk for fun, to spend time with your dog, and/or to earn points for FIT Dog titling (not a training walk). This walk will be 2-3 miles of moderate walking on dirt or grass trails with frequent roots and occasional rocks on the trails. Wear appropriate footwear. Bring poop bags and water (and a bowl) for your dog. Bring water for yourself. There is a porta-potty at this location. We'll meet in the parking lot closest to the trail.ALL are welcome. All breeds and mixes of dog. All people. And you are not required to have a dog to walk with us!
Wildlife are often visible at this location and dogs are required to be on-leash.
Dogs must be up-to-date on rabies and DHPP vaccines. Bordetella vaccine is recommended as dogs may be in close proximity during the walk. Leptospirosis vaccine is recommended as we will be walking near bodies of water where wildlife live. Tick preventive is essential as we live in Pennsylvania, where ticks are present year-round.
