The Western PA Earthdog Club is hosting this exciting event for anyone interested in becoming an AKC Earthdog Judge and everyone who is interested in learning more about Earthdog. Attending this seminar is the first step required on your path to being approved for judging AKC Earthdog Tests. The seminar presenter, Jo Ann Frier-Murza, is a legend in the Earthdog community. With her involvement in the sport and expertise about every aspect of Earthdog she has inspired, taught, and trained both humans and canines. Jo Ann’s book, Earthdog Ins & Outs, has been a respected source of information for Earthdog participants. In addition to her hands on involvement Jo Ann became an AKC Rep in 2011.The seminar will cover various topics including the purpose and history of Earthdog, den creation, scoring, judge’s responsibilities, and more. The seminar will begin at 8:30 a.m. and should conclude by 5:00 p.m. Light lunch will be provided by the club.
