AKC Canine Good Citizen Training6-Tuesdays June 7-July 12
5:30 PM – 6:30 PM
Training will take place at varied locations in downtown Salisbury.
Good Citizen Skills include:
• Sitting politely for petting
• Sit & down on command
• Staying in place
• Loose leash training
• Recall
• Accepting a friendly stranger
• Walking through a crowd
• Reaction to other dogs
• Distractions
*This course is often a prerequisite for many dog-therapy groups.
Prerequisite: Dogs must be 13 months old or older.
$150 for 6-week series
All vaccinations must be current.
If your dog reacts negatively toward other dogs or people or has severe behavior issues, these classes will not be a good fit. Contact Understanding Your Dog for private session options.
