The band combines elements of Latin American and African percussion from Spanish-born Raffa Martinez with influences and instrumentation from Ireland. Aisling Urwin, born and raised in Ireland, transports you to other worlds on the Irish harp, while Ajeet dances through her complex soundscape with deep and rich percussion sounds on her bodhrán and playful, breathy melodies on the low whistle. Ajeet's deep love of folk traditions has led her to study traditional songs and instruments in India, Central and South America, as well as her own homeland of Ireland. These deep-rooted traditional influences intertwine with her own unique gentleness, offering the listener an unexpected and stirring musical dream.
