Pairing laughter and romance with sparkling wit and infectious charm, this operetta is welcoming for opera aficionados and novices alike. Premiered in 1874 at Theatre an der Wien in Vienna, it continues to be one of the most frequently performed operettas worldwide. Fletcher Opera Music Director James Allbritten conducts.
