And then... Around midday join us for our traditional "STONE SOUP” LUNCH to welcome the first AIWC meeting of the New Year!
Everyone contributes by bringing PEELED, WASHED vegetables ready for the soup pot, or bring rice, bread, wine, fruit, dessert to accompany the soup.
So why is it called "Stone Soup"? "Stone Soup" is an old folk tale in which a hungry stranger arrives in a town with only a pot of water, and putting a stone into the cooking pot convinces the people of a small town to contribute vegetables or other ingredients to the soup in order to make a meal that everyone enjoys!
MEETING PLACE: We meet in the hall behind the English Church, Via San Pasquale 15, Chiaia district. Ring the intercom "Sala Reunioni" to enter through the gate, and walk along the right-hand side of the church to the hall at the back.
