Dead Poets Rise™– where Players become Poet is a unique, engaging game that inspires confidence in creative expression and builds community–and no prior experience of reading or writing poetry is required to play!
Join us at the Spuyten Duyvil NYPL on Saturday, November 23, 2024, 2pm to participate in:
–A tabletop game for 2-6 players. (can also be played in pairs)
– The objective is to rescue a real Dead Poet from obscurity. Players liberate a real dead poet from obscurity by reaching a center ring and successfully overcoming the “Challenge of the Sphinx.” Players become poets by creating their own poem along the way, inspired by cards from the Writing Prompt Decks.
