About this Event
We have an action-packed day planned for this year's AIS Alumni Summer Social! This year's event will take place in Belfast, and we can't wait to see you there! The event is open to all AIS Alumni and a plus one.
The day will begin with a private coach from Dublin City Centre to Belfast at 10am for those who wish to avail of it. The coach will be departing George's Quay in Dublin City Centre at 10am sharp. Feel free to make your own way to Belfast if that is easier for you, and meet us there when you arrive.
An optional tour of West Belfast will take place during the day for those interested. This will be a great opportunity to learn more about The Troubles in Belfast and Northern Ireland. With professional tour guides, this walking tour visits the Catholic Falls Road and the Protestant Shankill Road. The tour explains The Troubles and peace process with stops at the famous murals, memorial gardens, and peacewalls between the two communities. The tour will begin at 2pm at Divis Tower, Belfast City Centre.
At 4:30pm, join fellow AIS Alumni in Haymarket's (BT1 1DJ) beautiful Cocktail Bar for a fun, summer evening. Guests will have a chance to mingle and soak up the fantastic social scene that Belfast has to offer! There will be plenty of good food and two complimentary drinks will be provided.
We will run the same private coach service back to Dublin, leaving at 8pm that evening, but feel free to stay longer, make a night, or even a weekend out of this event!
