Join us for a magical evening filled with crystals, air plants and astrology!
In this workshop, our resident astrologer Dr. Lorraine Monteagut will explain how your big 3 (sun, moon, and rising sign) can provide insights into your personality, relationships, and life path.
Wild Roots Owner Amanda Hill will continue the self-discovery journey by discussing the properties and elemental associations of different crystals and how working with them can facilitate balance and healing. She’ll also provide an introduction to the wonderful world of air plants, complete with care information and pro tips.
To tie everything together, you’ll finish the evening by creating a personalized air plant and crystal terrarium that perfectly reflects you!
What is included in the workshop:
-An overview of air plant care and crystal properties by shop owner Amanda Hill
-An introductory lesson on the birth chart by local author and astrologer Lorraine Monteagut
-A multi-page handout filled with information about air plants, astrology, and crystals
-A beautiful, frameable birth chart
-All the materials you will need to build your own terrarium, including an air plant, glass container, and 3 crystals
-Wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks
About the instructors:
Lorraine Monteagut, PhD, is a writer, astrologer and tarot reader. Her recently published book, Brujas: The Magic and Power of Witches of Color, is available down the street from Wild Roots at Tombolo Books!
Amanda Hill is a lifelong plant lover who descends from a family of horticulturalists. She founded Wild Roots six years ago to share the magic of plants with her community.
