AIMS Columbus hosts The Center For Family Safety and Healing from Nationwide Children’s Hospital
February is Youth Mental Health Awareness Month and mental health related incidents see an increase during this month. 1 in 5 teens and young adults lives with a mental health condition (Source: National Alliance for Mental Illness). Nationwide Children's Hospital and The Center for Family Safety and Healing offer training and resources for youth and youth-serving providers.
Supporting Healthy Teen Relationships
Teens face many different pressures in relationships, and they need adults to start the conversation. This session will cover the spectrum of teen dating to help adults use trauma-responsive communication strategies, empower teens to make healthy relationship choices, and share local and national resources for youth.
