After a busy few months we are delighted to confirm that the AIMREC Collection in Unit 7 at Mill Farm Business Units TN26 3DB will open to visitors on Saturday 15th November at 10.30 and every Saturday until 20th December. The Collection features top exhibition layouts The Gresley Beat, Pempoul, Wouldham Town, Melton Mowbray North, Ravens Rock and Somewhere in France 2 along with two design classics by John Wiley, an exhibition on Ashford's Railway Legacy and stunning images from the Railway Cameramen Exhibition by the Railway Photographic Society formerly on display at Locomotion in Shildon. One day tickets are priced at £10 adults, £5 for Under 14 and £25 for families (2+2 or more). Annual tickets are available at £75 adults and £100 for families. Tickets are being sold from Unit 2 at Mill Farm which remains free to enter with a refreshed interior display of ten layouts, static models, modelling shop, second-hand books and tea-room serving drinks with home made cakes and sausage rolls. The existing Spitfire Line miniature railway will continue to run alongside Unit 2 whilst a new section alongside Unit 7 is under development. Our photo shows regular visitors and great friends of AIMREC Jenny and David Warner alongside The Gresley Beat (undergoing final preparation for the 15th) after they became the proud purchasers of our very first Family Ticket!
