Aim Up Casino Night

Aim Up's Casino Night is a charity event raising funds for adults with disabilites across Gloucestershire.

An unforgettable evening:

The event will start at 6pm where ticket holders will stroll down the statement staircase into the candlelit ambience of a modern take on french extravagance, Bistro Du Vin, greeted with a welcome drink of fizz, beer or non-alcoholic alternatives.

Between 6:30 and 7pm guests have the opportunity to mingle and enjoy the variety of canapes circulating the casino room, as Croupiers prepare for the evening ahead.

At 7pm Casino tables will be open for use, so guests can play and place their bets with luck on their side. Whilst people shuffle their way around the blackjack board, don't forget to visit our professional mixologist who will be providing guests with sensational taste experiences from his own specially designed cocktail menu.

With prizes to be won, entertainment to be had and a local charity to support, this is an evening you don't want to miss!

About Aimm Up:

Aim Up is a charity supporting adults with disabilities, complex needs and mental health conditions.

Over 14% of adults in Gloucestershire were registered with a disability that impacts their day-to-day livelihood. We provide supportive services catered to every individual to enable adults to live the life they want, the way they want to.

As a result ALL adults can achieve their ambitions and learn to live independently.

Event costs and fundraising

In return for a secured a ticket at the event you will need to pay the correct fee, available via Eventbrite.

All funds raised in the name of Aim Up must be paid to Aim Up. You have a legal responsibility to ensure that all donations received by you for the event are paid to Aim Up promptly.

How will the funds raised be used?

Aim Up has been made on of Cheltenham's Mayor's Charities, we are donating 50% of funds raised into the Mayor's fundraising pot - to be split equally between ourselves, Cheltenham Welcomes Refugees, Friends of Sandford Parks and CCP in early 2025. However, until then - the other 50% will support Aim Up to continue to provide services, develop our hub (which we are currently in the process of building) and ensure the future sustainability of Aim Up, by developing other projects and services.

General conditions of entry

You must be 18 years of age or above on the day that the event commences, to be allowed to purchase tickets.

All participants are entirely responsible for their own behaviours & possessions when attending the event. If anyone under the age of 18 is in attendance, they must be accompanied by an adult who is 18 years of age or above and agrees to be responsible for all accompanying attendees’ (under the age of 18s’) actions and behaviours, as well as their own. Aim Up shall not be liable for any injury or loss of possession that participants experience as a result of attending the event, except where an injury results from the negligence or omissions of Aim Up. Aim Up is covered by appropriate public liability insurance.

Personal liability, medical, belongings/equipment or personal accident insurance is not provided by Aim Up. You are advised to obtain such insurance yourself if required.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a conscientious and courteous manner while attending the event. If at any time it is discovered that attendees are acting in an inappropriate manner Aim Up reserve the right to refuse entry/ask attendees to leave to the event.

Aim Up reserves the right to cancel the event should it be deemed necessary for any reasons outside of its control. In this instance, all tickets purchased by you will be refunded.

By attending this event, you confirm that you are happy for your name and any footage or photographs taken during your attendance of the Event to be used by Aim Up and Mayor's charities (CWR, FOSP and CCP) to publicise and organise events, and by Aim Up generally in promoting the work of the charity. This may include brochures, posters, leaflets, display boards, website and any other such appropriate materials.

By purchasing a ticket to this event, you understand and accept that Aim Up will to keep you informed, by email, with general charity news & updates. You will be able to unsubscirbe from our mailing list at any time.

If your personal details (address, contact number etc.) change after you have submitted your application you must notify us immediately. All personal information will be held in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998.

By purchasing a ticket to this Event, you agree to the terms and conditions above and the following disclaimer: ‘I declare I will abide by the age limits set for the event and will abide by all rules and instructions. I declare that I will not act in an inappropriate/unpleasant or aggressive manner towards staff or other attendees at the event. I accept that the organisers (Aim Up), sponsors, partners, staff will not be liable for any loss, damage, action, claim, costs or expenses, which may arise in consequence of my attendance of this event, unless caused by their negligence or omission’ (Please note if you are signing up on behalf of others this declaration is also on their behalf).
