About this Event
This class is held IN PERSON two days a week on and Mondays and Wednesdays at AIM Code School.
This course introduces students to the world of computer programming and software development using the Python programming language. Students will use Python to learn the basics of object-oriented programming, critical thinking with code, and best practices in software development. This is an introductory course—no previous programming experience is necessary!
Python is a general-purpose programming language and is commonly used in website and server development, data analysis, and machine learning. Participants who successfully complete this course will be able to read and develop their own basic Python programs and will have foundational knowledge that could be expanded into more specific topics in Python development including data analysis, machine learning, and artificial intelligence.
Prerequisites: Students will need to have professional computing skills equivalent to that of 21st century employment skills.
