Cyclists from all over gather at Stewart Park in Ithaca NY to ride around Cayuga Lake while being fully supported by a team of volunteers at seven pitstops strategically placed around the lake. The riders will also be assisted by vehicle safety and gear support bike repair technicians a lunch pitstop at the halfway point and a great celebration at the finish line! If you don't want to ride the full 90 or 100 miles around the lake you can register for smaller routes ranging from 14 to 42 miles. These smaller options begin at specific pitstops and require a short bus ride from Stewart Park.
Registration for the Ride starts at $25 when it opens on April 1st 2024 and will periodically increase as the event gets closer. This fee goes towards rider amenities and event costs. Additionally all riders who are 22 and older are required to fundraise $200 to participate in the Ride while younger riders (21 and under) are asked to fundraise a minimum of $100. All the money raised by the riders goes back to STAP to fill the funding gaps required to serve people living with HIV/AIDS those with two or more chronic illnesses the LGBTQ+ youth at Identity Youth Center or Syringe Exchange participants.
