Aidan Plank, one of NE Ohio's most in-demand bassists and composers, returns with a special show celebrating the works of the brilliant composer and pianist Lyle Mays, who passed away in 2020. While Mays was widely known for his collaborations with Pat Metheny in the Pat Metheny Group, his own compositions remain lesser known and vastly less performed. This music is a personal favorite of Aidan and has been lovingly orchestrated to the ensemble performing at the Bop Stop with him.Tickets for tonight are $20 each.
