Join us for a rotational, interactive training session with your local Aidacare Equipment Specialists who will present a range of products that may assist your community and residential care clients to manage their pressure area care.
Participants will rotate through 3 different zones to learn about, and trial a range of Out of the Box Assistive Technology, with tips and considerations to support pressure area care.
Area 1. Pressure Care Mattresses
With Paul Wright (Equipment Specialist - Community) and Leonie Brockman (Occupational Therapist)
Trial a range of Foam, Air and Hybrid mattresses. Learn about the differences between mattresses and what to consider for your clients. Understand how to use the bed mechanics to support pressure care.
Area 2. Pressure Care Seating
With Joanne Cornet (Equipment Specialist & Showroom Manager) and Stephen Kolega (Equipment Specialist - Residential Aged Care)
Experience the range and benefits of our specialised pressure care chairs, including the Air Chair and new Cove Chair.
Area 3. Pressure Cushions
With Astrid Van Den Berg (Complex Rehab Team and Occupational Therapist) and Troy Noakes (Equipment Specialist - Community)
Trial our Out of the Box Pressure Cushions, including the Roho and Equagel options as well as Jay Foam cushions. Understand when to use one cushion over another and when to consult the Complex Rehab team.
Introduction to the BodiTrack Pressure Mapping system for seating.
