The Lazy Seals Freediving Club is proud to host the AIDA Freediving New Zealand Pool Nationals 2025 at Te Ngaengae Pool, WellingtonDave the dates for competition, sign up will open shortly.
Don't want to compete? Volunteers are always welcome, as is billeting, get int ouch if you can help with these.
The competition will comprise three sessions over three days:
Friday 19 September: Statics (STA), with athelete's briefing in the morning
Saturday 20 September: Morning Dynamic with Fins (DYN/DYNB) in the 50m Main Pool
Sunday 21 September: Morning Dynamic No Fins (DNF) in the 25m Main Pool
FNZ Club Members
Recreational Grade – $115 Early Bird / $150
AIDA Grade – $130 Early Bird / $165
Non-FNZ Club Members
AIDA Grade – $155 Early Bird / $190
Entries close on 12th September 2025. To enter, you have to be 16 years old or older.
The competition will be in Lower Hutt, Wellington, at Te Ngaengae Pool at 12 Everest Avenue, Naenae. This new, bigger facility was reopened in December 2024 and boasts a 50m Olympic pool with two moveable bulkheads.
