April Bonus Program - Revisit Hammond

In May of 2022, AIA Northern Indiana visited Hammond, Indiana and saw first hand the beginnings of the revitalization work taking place in that historic city on the edge of Chicago. For a bonus program, (another program is being planned at Chicory /Mishawaka on April 16th) join members, students of Purdue NW and friends of AIA Northerrn Indiana as we once again visit Hammond. This presentation will focus on the revitalization of The Banc, an all-new mixed-use community over 100 years in the making. Set in the former Bank Calumet headquarters, one of Downtown Hammond’s most iconic buildings, The Banc’s nine fully-renovated stories blend classic architecture, contemporary apartments, and modern amenities to offer Hammond’s next generation a truly unique place to call home.
Tour will be given by Josh Schoon, Project Executive, Berglund Construction.
