This is an event for architects and designers to get out the sketchbooks, get outside, and sketch away!
About this Event

Come join the AIA-CKC for a Sketch Crawl event in the downtown and NULU districts of Louisville. This is an event for architects and designers to get out the sketchbooks, get outside, and sketch away! We will gather at a recent B&B project by our colleague, Mitchell Kersting and Work Architecture + Design, to enjoy some snacks and hear from architect, artist, and illustrator Dan Church about some tips and techniques for sketching. There will also be door prizes and goodies from local art store Preston Arts Center. We will then venture out in the area for live sketching, and regroup at a local watering hole for a friendly “Pin Up” for anyone who wants to share their sketches and designs. Please bring a friend who would like to learn more about AIA-CKC. Approval of 2 CEU’s for this event are pending.

· 5:30. Meet at 363 E. Market Street for program kick off and presentation by Dan Church.

· 6:00 – 7:00. Strike out on foot in the area for sketching alone or in groups.

· 7:00 – ?. Regroup at Last Refuge at 600 E. Market St for friendly “Pin Up” and discussion.
