You are invited to attend M State’s 2025 AI Symposium, a free workshop to learn about artificial intelligence and its transformative power on work and business. The symposium will feature two expert-led sessions related to AI's impact on small businesses and human resources. "AI in Action: Real-Time Solutions for Entrepreneurs," facilitated by Do Good Better Consulting Founder Patrick Kirby and led by Ian Carlstrom of the West Central Minnesota Small Business Development Center, will outline the four stages of entrepreneurial AI adoption and integration, showcasing practical uses and training resources.
"AI and HR: A Partnership for the Modern Workplace," led by M State Human Resource Faculty Loren Haagenson, will explore the opportunities, challenges and best practices of AI in employee recruitment, engagement, learning and development, and performance management.
The symposium is free to attend and open to all. It will be held in the Oscar Bergos Center on M State's Moorhead campus on Thursday, October 2, from 9 a.m. to noon.
