Who
The hackathon is open to developers, students, entrepreneurs, and professionals eager to learn how to build AI solutions. To better enjoy the proposed events and lectures, we recommend having at least ONE of the following skills or interests:
- Programming language development: Experience with Python, Swift, or JavaScript, and familiarity with their respective front-end technologies (e.g., React, SwiftUI, or Vue).
- API and network services: Understanding of API calls and Knowledge of how to connect applications with network services.
- Business and entrepreneurship: Background or interest in business development and enthusiasm for pitching and selling ideas.
- Design and user experience: Skills in UI/UX design, and Experience with prototyping tools
Don't worry if you're new to these skills! Our hackathon is an excellent opportunity to:

- Group formation and idea brainstorming
Tuesday, October 1 (2 - 6 PM)
- Lecture “Design Thinking”
- Workshop “Introduction to aiXplain and AI SDKs”
- Lecture “Business Pitch/Idea Selling”
Wednesday, October 2 (2 - 6 PM)
- Midpoint idea pitch sessions
- Hands-on work on projects
Thursday, October 3 (1 - 6 PM)
- Mentors available for scheduled appointments (in-person and online)
- Technical workshops on demand
Friday, October 4 (10 AM - 8 PM)
- Final idea pitches and solution presentations
- Guest speakers’ presentations:
- "Ethical AI" by Mona Diab, Director of Language Technologies Institute at CMU
- “AI in the Context of Smart Home Energy Management” by Michael Lotfy, Executive Vice President - Award ceremony. (Winners will receive cash/gift card prizes: 1st place - $150/person, 2nd place - $100/person, 3rd place - $50/person)
The closing event will feature food, drinks, and great company, offering participants a relaxed atmosphere to mingle, network, and celebrate their achievements.
