About this Event
EducationUSA Monterrey invites high school students to a special session titled “AI, Quantum, and a World for Everyone,” presented by Dr. Hei-Chi Chan, Associate Professor and Head of the Department of Mathematics at the University of Illinois Springfield.
During this session, students will explore how Artificial Intelligence and Quantum technologies are shaping a more inclusive future across different fields and industries. Dr. Chan will share insights into how these areas are studied at U.S. universities, the academic preparation expected at the undergraduate level, and the skills and high school coursework that can help students build a strong foundation.
Participants will gain a better understanding of how to begin preparing early for studies related to AI, mathematics, and emerging technologies, as well as the real-world impact of these disciplines. The session will also include time for interaction and questions, allowing students to engage directly with an expert in the field.
This event is ideal for students who are interested in innovation, technology, and strategic academic planning for future studies in the United States.
