ROBERT BRAUN | Partner, Cybersecurity & Privacy Practice Lead | JMBM
Robert Braun is Co-Chair of the JMBM Cybersecurity and Privacy Group, and specializes in transactions with an emphasis on data security, privacy and information technology. Bob's practice includes establishment and development of strategies to implement computer software, cloud computing, computer hardware, communications and e-commerce solutions, designing and implementing privacy and security programs and protocols, as well as remediating security breaches.
Bob counsels a variety of firms on software development and licensing, franchising, Web sites design and ownership; electronic commerce transactions and related matters. In addition, Bob represents clients in corporate structuring, financing, acquisitions and divestitures; joint ventures and strategic alliances. Bob is also a frequent lecturer as an expert in technology, privacy and data security issues, and is one of only three attorneys in the 2021 listing of Southern California SuperLawyers to be recognized for expertise in Technology Transactions. Bob is on the Advisory Board of the Information Systems Security Association, Los Angeles chapter, and a member of the International Association of Privacy Professionals.

Dr. Stan Stahl is the founder and President of the nonprofit , home of the MSP Cybersecurity Accelerator where MSPs become Trusted Security Partners. A former research mathematician, Dr. Stahl is an information security pioneer. He began his career in the 1980s as a research scientist at MITRE and went on to secure Top Secret teleconference and database systems for the White House, Cheyenne Mountain, and America’s nuclear weapons arsenal. In 2002 Stan founded Citadel Information Group to bring sound information security management practices to midsize and smaller organizations, selling the company in 2020. Dr. Stahl has a long history of community service. He serves on the Small Business Advisory Council of the Cyber Readiness Institute, is an invited member of Fast Company’s Executive Board, and his Substack newsletters are read by thousands. Stan’s PhD in Mathematics is from The University of Michigan. Go Blue!
