About this Event

Workshop Overview

We are delighted to announce that Allan Boardman is coming to Ireland with his AI workshop. Allan has been delivering these sessions across the globe and for one time only will be delivering this workshop in Dublin.

This session is designed for auditors, risk professionals, and security professionals who want to stay ahead of the curve and ensure the responsible and secure implementation of AI within their organizations.

We’ll start by demystifying AI concepts, exploring different AI applications, and delve into the potential risks associated with them. This includes bias in data and algorithms, privacy and ethical considerations, security vulnerabilities in AI systems, and the lack of explainability in some models. Gaining a clear understanding of these risks is crucial for developing effective mitigation strategies.

Next up we’ll dive into the essential principles of AI governance. We'll explore established frameworks and best practices for managing AI risks throughout its lifecycle, from development and deployment to ongoing monitoring and maintenance. We’ll discuss ways to evaluate existing AI governance frameworks within organizations and identify areas for improvement.

Next, we'll shift focus to practical auditing techniques for AI systems. We’ll explore how to map AI risks to relevant audit procedures, assess controls for data quality, bias mitigation, and model explainability. Additionally, the session will equip you with techniques for utilizing tools to understand model decision-making and identify potential issues. Finally, we'll cover techniques for sampling and testing AI outputs to verify accuracy and consistency.

By the end of the session, you'll be well-positioned to:

· Proactively identify and assess AI-related risks within organizations.

· Adapt your existing audit methodologies to effectively evaluate AI systems.

· Contribute to the development and implementation of robust governance frameworks for trustworthy AI.

· Leverage new auditing techniques specifically designed for AI systems.

Kickoff 6pm with tea & coffee on arrival.
