AI is not coming someday, it is already here, shaping decisions, opportunities, and risks in our daily lives. Instead of being drawn into fear mongering, we are in a position to change the narrative. Waiting on the sidelines only deepens the gap for individuals, businesses, and even nations. Canada is already lagging in adoption, and the cost is both economic and personal.
We will unpack:
- What AI really is: beyond the hype and fear
- Why it matters now: impacting government, business, and individuals
- How to take action: with incremental steps that build understanding and influence
This session is about more than technology. By learning and engaging, we empower ourselves and protect youth, while also giving them the tools to lead. Together, we can create meaningful impact at every level, from local communities to national strategy.
This event marks the first of many discussions we will host, not only with our initial panelists but with additional professionals who can equip us with the tools to make AI our partner. By embracing its potential, we set the stage for lasting impact.
AI will not take our jobs unless we let it. When we step up, get involved, and lead change, we do not lose our jobs, we redefine them.
