About this Event

Welcome to AI for All: Standardisation and Industrialisation! Join us for an exciting online event in the lead up to the 2nd Global AI Safety Summit. This event is hosted jointly by the Korean Agency for Technology and Standards (KATS) and the British Standards Institution (BSI).

Our expert speakers will discuss the importance of standardisation in AI technologies and how it can drive industrialisation of AI across different sectors.

International standards play a key role in providing interoperability between legal jurisdictions and are increasingly referenced by legislation.

This session will take place in English on Zoom, the Zoom link will be sent by email before the event.

⌜AI 서울 정상회의⌟를 앞두고 진행되는 이 행사는 국가기술표준원(KATS)과 영국표준협회(BSI)가 공동으로 주최합니다.

국제표준은 법적 관할권 간의 상호 운용성을 제공하는 데 핵심적인 역할을 하며, 법률에서도 인용되는 빈도가 늘어나고 있습니다.

AI 안전성 및 신뢰성 확보를 위해 필요한 표준, 규제, 법 등에 대한 의견을 공유하고, 영국과 한국 기업의 실제 사례를 들을 수 있는 자리로, 양국 각 4명, 총 8명의 패널이 참여하며, AI 표준화 중요성 및 다양한 분야의 AI 산업화 촉진 방향을 논의합니다.

1710-1725 KST / 0910-0925 BST: Standardisation Keynote. Adam Leon Smith will give an overview of international AI standards. Adam Leon Smith is the Deputy Chair of the UK's AI standards mirror committee, Chair of the British Computer Society's Fellows Technical Advisory Group, and an board level advisor to multiple UK SMEs.
