Father Gabriel Richard High School and Ave Maria Radio are pleased to announce that the Familiaris Consortio 2025 Conference: AI: Boon or Doom to Human Flourishing? is scheduled for Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Father Gabriel Richard High School. The morning will begin with Holy Mass at 8:00 am. Light refreshments will be served after Mass, and the program will begin at 8:45 am.
Our lineup of speakers includes Dr. Jordan Wales, Associate Professor of Theology at Hillsdale College and Matthew Harvey Sanders, Founder of Longbeard (an AI company focused on building AI products to serve the Church’s mission), and CEO of the Humanity 2.0 Foundation based in Washington DC focused on accelerating human flourishing. They are joined by Dr. Rusty Chavey, Emmaus Health and Dr. Marcus Peter, host of Ave Maria in the Afternoon on Ave Maria Radio.
The morning promises to be an insightful look at quickly advancing artificial intelligence technology and how, as Catholics, we can purposefully and faithfully engage with it.
