About this Event

The disruptive potential of artificial intelligence (AI) for business productivity, growth and competitiveness is enormous.

We're working with regional stakeholders in the Greater Manchester region on an AI ecosystem and how its potential can be unlocked in different sectors of the economy through our AI@Biz event series.

For this event, AI@Biz is partnering with The Manchester College and UCEN Manchester to inform and empower AI adoption and integration in the Greater Manchester construction sector.

Our event is designed for businesses, new entrepreneurs, researchers, and innovators alike.

What to expect:

We're bringing together academics, AI experts and innovators, private companies, and business and governmental agencies to explore the power of AI.

You'll learn how to access AI expertise, explore collaborative opportunities to work on operational and AI application bottlenecks, and access developmental and knowledge exchange funding opportunities.

We'll also explore how to respond to wider challenges in the construction sector – from a shortage of skilled labour to optimisation of resources and reduction of carbon footprint.

Whether you're a small business or part of a larger company, you'll discover how the adoption of trustworthy and implementable AI solutions can support your business ideas and plans. For example, the use of cutting concepts and technologies in the AI landscape such as digital twins, 3D drone mapping, VR and XR, retrofitting and decarbonisation, predictive maintenance, and energy optimisation of the built structure.

Refreshments and lunch are included. Please add any dietary requirements to your order form.

This workshop is funded by The Manchester College, and co-funded by the Centre for Digital Innovation programme. The event is also supported by Greater Manchester Chamber of Commerce.

The Manchester College is a member of the GMFEIP, funded by FEIF, Innovate UK
