AI-Assisted Design for Language Teaching is a professional development series offered by the CLT. The main purpose of this series is to introduce faculty and graduate students in the College of Arts, Languages & Letters to principles of instructional design for language and culture courses. Using an agile design model, this series will focus on how language instructors can use AI tools to design meaningful, memorable, and motivational learning experiences.
Intended primarily for language instructors, this series comprises three in-person 75-minute sessions that will help participants explore the affordances and limitations of using generative AI tools to address common challenges and create more dynamic learning experiences.
*Participants should have access to a computer device to participate in these hands-on sessions.
