We are pleased to invite you to an insightful panel discussion titled "Feeding for Health: Pets and Livestock." This event will take place on November 11, 2025, from 4 pm to 6 pm at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center.
This session will delve into the health implications of livestock feed and companion animal food, their similarities and differences. With both industry and academic representatives on the panel, multiple viewpoints will be shared. This will be followed by a networking reception from 5 pm to 6 pm.
Panelists Include:
- , Veterinary Services Lead at Farmina. Farmina leans into their Italian roots, where food is crucial because it brings us together. Pets hold a special place in our families, motivating Farmina to develop the best food possible for our four-legged friends. Scott brings deep NC roots to the conversation, having received his BS in Biology from UNC-CH and his DVM from NC State University.
- is the Academic Affairs Manager at Hill’s Pet Nutrition. Hill’s transforms the lives of millions of pet families through pioneering innovation, science-led nutrition and the best and brightest people. Ally brings her veterinary background to Hill’s, along with status as an Adjunct Professor at Kansas State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine. Ally completed a DVM at Auburn University and did her small animal clinical nutrition residency at UC Davis.
