Join the Ahmedabad East Half Marathon: Raise Awareness for about Heart Attack and Brain Stroke Prevention

We’re thrilled to invite you to the first ever Half Marathon in East Ahmedabad, an event dedicated to social cause to of raising awareness about heart attacks and brain strokes - two of the leading causes of preventable deaths worldwide. Our mission is to inspire proactive health practices and educate our community on lifestyle choices early detection and preventive measures that can greatly reduce these risks.

Especially for the younger generation this is an opportunity to instil instil healthy habits from an early school-age.

Each step in this marathon is a commitment to wards better heart and brain health. Through this event we emphasize the power of regular exercise, balanced nutrition and routine health check-ups which helps in preventing heart attacks and strokes. •  21 KM: 5:30 AM
• 10 KM: 6:00 AM
•  5 KM : 6:30 AM

 BIB EXPO Details

Date: Thursday 16th and Friday 17th January

Time: 11:00 PM to 9:00 PM

1.     Participants have to show the Email OR SMS which have their BIB number. Alternatively please show registration information SMS/email while collecting the BIB.

2.     At the time of bib collection participants are requested to carry original ID proof (ID Proof which have a Photo and Date of Birth)

3.     No race category changes will be allowed.

4.     No t-shirt exchange will be allowed.

5.     Participants will not be allowed on the Race Day without BIB.

6.     If unavailable for the BIB Collection? Assign someone with an authorization Letter signed by the registered runner.

·        He/She must carry a soft copy of the Registration Confirmation [With BIB Details] email / SMS.

·        Soft Copy of their ID Proof.

Rules & Regulations

1.   Submit both COVID Vaccine certificates while registering OR Submit RTPCR Report/COVID Vaccine certificates during BIB Expo

2.   Participants are required to wear a mask and ensure COVID-appropriate behaviour at all times inside the venue.

3.   Participants must register on or before the closing date of the registration no new entry will be accepted post 25th March 2024.

4.   Once registration is confirmed the fee is non-refundable IF THE EVENT IS CANCELLED DUE TO ANY UNFORESEEN CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND THE CONTROL OF THE ORGANIZERS THE REGISTRATION FEE PAID BY YOU FOR PARTICIPATION WILL BE ADJUSTED TOWARDS YOUR PARTICIPATION ON A NEW DATE. IN THE EVENT OF YOU BEING UNABLE TO PARTICIPATE ON THE NEW DATE YOU WILL NOT BE ELIGIBLE FOR A REFUND.

5.   Please save the confirmation email received after registration as a reference for future communications.

6.   Runners found to have interchanged their running number BIB and/or timing BIB tag with another individual will be disqualified from the event and shall not be allowed to apply or participate in the subsequent edition of the event.

7.   Please note if you don't wear your timing BIB tag as instructed you won't be able to get an official finish time and thereby the official Certificate recording your finish times. No BIB tag – No Timing – No Prize.

8.   No vehicles are allowed on the course. Anyone bringing wheeled vehicles will be disqualified from the race; you will be asked to leave the course. 

9.   Only those confirmed participants wearing the running number BIB's will be allowed on the route. Any person found wearing the incorrect BIB or no BIB will be disqualified and removed by the course security.

10. Further every runner must wear his/her running number BIB on the front of the vest. Any mutilation fold alteration or damage to the BIB will amount to disqualification of the runner from the event.

11. Organizers reserve the right to stop any participant from participating who is found medically unfit to continue in the opinion of the medical personnel.

12. Baggage counters are available for all participants. It is strongly recommended that you do not leave valuables like mobile phone camera jewelry watch electronic gadgets etc. in the bag stored. Organizers are not responsible for any loss of baggage and/or its belongings

13. Participants are requested to cooperate with the police and security personnel deputed at the event venue and on the route. Participants/supporters are liable to random checking on race day – this is for your own security.

14. Entry Cancellation: Requests for cancellation & transfer will not be accepted and thereby a refund will not be entertained.

15. The right to participate in the event and the rights and benefits available to the applicant under this application form is at the sole discretion of the Event Organizing team and cannot be transferred to any other person under any circumstances and the applicant alone shall be entitled to the rights and benefits arising hereunder.

16. The rules listed are subject to change as per the discretion of the Event Heads and the Organizing Committee.

I also acknowledge full and sole responsibility for my own medical expenses and that I am responsible for any and all medical expenses on my behalf. In consideration for being permitted to participate in Ahmedabd East Half Marathon. I agree to assume all risks and to release and hold harmless to Ahmedabd East Half Marathon. I understand and agree that this Waiver and Release is binding upon our heir’s assigns and legal representatives. I hereby grant my consent and permission to Ahmedabd East Half Marathonts Partner organizations and employees to use any and all information submitted in my application and/or my name photograph videotape motion picture recording voice or likeness for any purpose including pre-race and post-race publicity..

I/We have carefully read the Waiver and Release also I fully understand its contents. By signing this waiver I/ We have indicated that I/ We have read understood and agreed to the Waiver and Release Form.

I/We understand there may be moving traffic on the road during the time of race.
