About this Event
Welcome to the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women Interfaith Symposium 2024! Join us for an enlightening event where women from different faith backgrounds come together to share their experiences and promote understanding and harmony. This in-person symposium will feature insightful discussions, engaging workshops, and opportunities to connect with women of diverse beliefs.
To live harmoniously in a multicultural community, we must educate ourselves about the values of our neighbours and friends. For over twenty years, the Ahmadiyya Muslim Women's Association has been holding Interfaith Symposiums to achieve this.
This symposium will provide an opportunity for you to:
- Engage with individuals from various faiths and backgrounds.
- Gain insights from esteemed speakers and faith representatives on their perspectives regarding suffering and faith.
- Enjoy an afternoon of learning, reflection, and new connections.
We are excited and fortunate to have the following speakers on the panel this year to enlighten us with their views on their respective faiths:
Christianity : Courtney Burns Martin
Hinduism: Shushmitav Sharma
Indigenous : Cheyenne Williams
Islam: Talat Sadiq
Judaism : Arliene Botnick
Sikhism : Nanki Kaur
Note: This is a ladies-only event. Registration starts at 1:30 pm on the day of the event. Refreshments will be served after the program.
Don't miss this chance to learn, grow, and build bridges with others in our community. See you there!
