About this Event

Ahimsa Community Ecstatic Dance Party

Join us for a playful evening filled with connection, expression, and dance! We will be gathering at Community Yoga for 2 hours of facilitated fun. Ecstatic Dance is a beautiful tool to settle you into your body and move only in the ways you feel called to. All parts of you are welcome in this space and we invite you show show up authentically in your expression! This is an opportunity for us to come together as a community and step a little outside our comfort zone to meet our edge in a loving and light-hearted way.
We celebrate our LGBTQIA+ community and are committed to creating a safe space where all are welcome and encouraged to join!

What to bring: Yoga mat, clothes to move in, water, a friend, and an open heart!

Note: This is a sober event, please also plan to arrive 15 mins early so that we can get started on time!
Pay what you can. We pride ourselves on creating accessible events for our community which are donation-based.

About Us:

Madison and Corey are both Certified Trauma Informed Yoga Teachers who are looking to bridge a gap in the community regarding inclusivity and accessibility. Yoga, has provided the space and tools for both of your facilitators to utilize vulnerability to better understand and find more love for themselves and others. We are excited about working to create a community where every person can feel safe, seen, and celebrated while reaping the benefit of yoga and somatic based tools! We are passionate about giving people the opportunity to show up as themselves and be witnessed in their most authentic expression. Our vision is to work with our LGBTQIA+ community and committed allies to see a change in our very own neighborhoods.
