Join us at our consultation event. We’ve created a plan to improve walking and cycling links between Waihī Beach and Athenree, across the beautiful Waiau Estuary.
Project highlights include:
• An accessible multi-functional boardwalk path
• Beach access and kayak landing
• Cultural and ecological connections
This is a community collaboration project, and while the construction is not yet funded, we hope to secure the necessary funding from external sources, providing there is enough community support.
