About this Event
This is an ACLS Original (2 days) and Refresher (1 day) course.
ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course highlighting the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care, and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. This course teaches skills in extensive group sessions, small group learning, and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
The training reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines. With our state-of-the-art classroom and high-fidelity simulation, you will be trained and well-prepared for an emergency cardiac event.

To take this class, you must possess a valid American Heart Association BLS card.
You will be issued an ACLS card by Penfield AMbulance (on behalf of the AHA) that is valid for two (2) years.
You are REQUIRED to complete a pre-class assignment.
