About this Event
This is an ACLS Original (2 days) and Refresher course (1 day).
ACLS is an advanced, instructor-led classroom course that highlights the importance of team dynamics and communication, systems of care and immediate post-cardiac-arrest care. It also covers airway management and related pharmacology. In this course, skills are taught in large, group sessions and small, group learning and testing stations where case-based scenarios are presented.
The training reflects science and education from the American Heart Association Guidelines. With our state of the art classroom and use high fidelity simulation, you will be trained and well prepared for an emergency cardiac event.

You will be issued an ACLS card by Penfield AMbulance (on behalf of the AHA) which is valid for two (2) years.
You will be REQUIRED to complete a pre-class assignment.
