AH MEN x INSIDE OUT returns for its second showcase, bringing you another night of powerful poetry and introspection!
This time, we spotlight the incredible Solly Ramatswi—a writer, performer, and theater-maker whose work is steeped in rich imagery and deeply personal storytelling.
Inspired by his grandmother’s tales and his rural Limpopo roots, Solly’s poetry explores themes of boyhood, love, self-reflection, and history. A champion on the slam stage and an advocate for language inclusivity, he uses his art to bridge worlds—incorporating Sign Language, translation, and performance into his creative expression.
Set against the evocative End of the Game exhibition, Ah Men – Inside Out is a collaborative series by Inside Out Centre for the Arts and Word N Sound, designed to unravel the complexities of masculinity through poetry. Join us for an evening where vulnerability meets power, and words create a space for reflection and connection.
The series is curated by King Kan and produced by the Inside Out Arts Centre for the Arts in partnership with the African Youth Literature Institute and the Word n Sound Live Literature Movement.
