Additionally, an opportunity to see the EXHIBITION of unique diversity of indigenous crops of more than 250 varieties of Rice, Millets, Sorghum, Pulses etc at the Venue.

Sanjay Patil is a Chemical Technologist from ICT Mumbai and he is associated with BAIF Development Research Foundation, Pune, as Chief Programme Executive (Agrobiodiversity) for the last 18 years.
The focus of his efforts is for Conservation and Management of indigenous crops, Wild edible plants, Tree species at various districts of Maharashtra, Gujarat, Odisha for Nutritional security and Livelihood, in climate change context.
This work involves Documentation, Field and Laboratory Research, Community seed banks establishment, Community level seed production, Registration of farmer varieties, Identifying candidate species of Indigenous Trees.
He is also associated with Indian Council for Agriculture Research (ICAR- NBPGR), National Gene Bank and Govt. of India, as a member of the Research Advisory committee.
