Agro Industrialization Club of East West University (EWUAIC), established in April 1, 2011, is the first initiative among the private universities of Bangladesh to represent the process of industrialization of agro products and to uphold our agricultural economy globally. From the time immemorial to now, Bangladesh is an agriculturally privileged country in the world and agriculture is the most important and inevitable sector of Bangladesh. We believe that private sector can also play a significant role in our agricultural economy to keep pace with the competitive world along with the public sectors. And EWUAIC is performing this role proudly. Our club effectively connects the people, concepts, initiatives, and resources needed to carry out industrialization through research and a variety of activity performances, branding of agricultural goods and services, and innovation.Agricultural Industries are now leading as a most important industry in the world. All branches of agro based industry are very important because they increase industrial products, provide employment, earn foreign exchange, increase income level and also provide employment to women and provide base for development for backward areas. This industry is also leading to economic development by boosting labor productivity, increasing agricultural surplus to accumulate capital, and increasing foreign exchange via exports.
Considering these factors, EWUAIC is conducting a 2-day long exposition of agricultural products, the most thrilling event of this semester starting from 12th May 2024!! Where we will invite different renowned startup companies related to agriculture to promote their products to the students. After the huge response of “AGRO BIZ EXPO 2014, 2016, 2017 & 2019, and 2023” it is the Sixth Season of East West University Agro Industrialization Club’s flagship event “AGRO BIZ EXPO 2024”!! The objective of our exhibition is to provide the students with practical understanding of the agriculture industry. You will get the chance to discover more about local agricultural businesses and agro-based goods as a result of this exhibition.
