This free educational event is open to all. The day is filled with activities, equipment, exhibits, livestock, children's activities and much more. Kids will be given a small booklet that they can get stamped at each educational station. Once filled out and turned in they get a free kids book about Agriculture. A free lunch will also be provided. We look forward to seeing you there!
The goal of this event is for Augusta County consumers to have a greater understanding how food, fiber, and renewable resource products are produced, value the essential role of agriculture in maintaining a strong economy, and appreciate the role agriculture plays in providing safe, abundant and affordable products and acknowledge and consider career opportunities in the agriculture, food, fiber and renewable resource industries.
